Surely Oliver had come up with this idea to become a saleswoman as a way to be able to dress full time. I would bet way back when he was sneaking into "his" mother's or sister's clostes he started trying to come up with a plan like this.
The making more money excuse is a little thin since it also doesn't explain how he looked so good, knew so much about fashion, make up and acting girlie so quickly after he announced "his" plan to the dealership.
I will offer one small piece of advice though, "he'll" make a lil more money if "he" replaces those clunky heels for some stilettos.
