When the other girls giggled and most of the guys all shook the heads, Tim, who won the VP position over Jay, took her hand and led her over to her new desk as his assistant. She sat demurely, but with a flushed face, as he explained to her what he expected of her. She listened as he explained which calls she should forward to him, how he liked his coffee, where to go to get his lunch and where to pick up his cleaning. There was so much to remember.
